Dr. (Prof.) Baldev’s passion for improving healthcare and making the world a better place started from his humble beginnings in Delhi, India. Born into a middle-class family, he had a strong desire to pursue a career in Healthcare management from an early age. He also attended the Graduate Summer School Programme in Business Planning offered by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A). In addition, he is trained in mountain medicine and has expedited many peaks and treks in India. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as the Nodal Officer of four COVID care centers in Delhi, showcasing his leadership and operational capabilities. Baldev’s achievements and expertise in healthcare have earned him recognition from national leaders as well as global institutions.

With an impressive range of qualifications and experiences in the field of mountain medicine and emergency response, he has obtained a Diploma in Mountain Medicine (DiMM) from the Mountain Medicine Society in collaboration with AIIMS Rishikesh, and received training in medical rescues, disaster management, and emergency mountain sickness from a variety of sources, including the Indian Army, Indian Airforce, BSF, ITBP, NDRF, and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.
